Miss Floppy and Momma need homes

Momma was returned to me the day after Sissy went to her new home. The family feared that she was having a bad reaction to the heart worm treatments and would not survive. They did not want to have her pass away around the children, so they returned her to me. She has since been doing fine. I took her in for the remaining treatments and she is doing well. She is currently on day 25 of the 30 days. We will not know how successful the adulticide treatment was for 6 months.

Miss Floppy is also waiting for a new home. There have been 2 ladies interested. She is very playful and loves to run. She is getting better at walking on the leash, but still pulls when she wants to go somewhere. She is now indoor trained, since she has been inside with Momma during the heart worm treatment period. She is a sweet, gentle, playful girl. I know she misses being out in the pin to run and play, but she does not like being alone and would only howl if out there alone.

Sissy has a new home

Sissy was adopted about 1 1/2 months ago. She lives about 45 minutes from here. She has a new friend, his name is Tana and he is from Alaska! She gets to go jogging every morning and I believe they bring them inside each evening for treats. Just last weekend she went to the beach for the first time. They told me that she was afraid of the waves!

I miss her very much and still cry from time to time. I did not realize how attached to her I had gotten. I have been out 2 times to visit and check up on her progress.

Here are some photos from the day I delivered her to her new home.

I have requested more photos and will post them as soon a I receive them.
